Coimbatore-based Skyline Exports has steadily emerged as a leading manufacturer and exporter of bed linen over the years. Backed by a three-decade-long legacy in sustainable home textile manufacturing, an unwavering commitment to quality, and a strong focus on innovation, the company is now geared up to make a strong impression at Heimtextil 2026.

In an exclusive interaction at the company’s state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Coimbatore, a quartet comprising Jagan Mohan, Managing Director; Rohit Jagan Mohan, CEO; Rahul Jagan Mohan, Director – Design & Marketing; and Atul Mehta, Head – Business Development, shared insights into the company’s evolution, product strengths, sustainability initiatives, Heimtextil 2026 participation, and future growth plans.
A Legacy Built Over Decades
Tracing the company’s journey, Jagan Mohan says, “Skyline Exports was established in 1988. We began with table linen and gradually expanded into other home textile categories. Today, we have a vast customer base spread across four continents.”
Over the years, Skyline Exports has carved a strong niche for itself, particularly in the bedding segment. Elaborating on this differentiation, Rohit notes, “There are very few companies globally that can manufacture both knitted and woven bedding under a single roof. We belong to this select group.”

Highlighting the company’s relationship-driven approach, Rahul adds, “Our unflinching commitment to quality and service has helped us build deep, long-standing relationships. A majority of our customers have been with us since the early days of our journey.”
Manufacturing Capabilities & Expansion Plans
Skyline Exports’ modern infrastructure spans a 70,000 sq. ft. facility, equipped with advanced technology and streamlined systems designed to ensure high productivity and consistent quality.
The manufacturing unit operates on 100% solar power and features automation across key processes—from cutting to quilting. “We have advanced multi-needle quilting machines that allow us to execute complex and intricate designs,” Jagan Mohan points out.

The company is now preparing for its next phase of growth. “We are currently in the process of adding a new manufacturing unit at Sulur, on the outskirts of Coimbatore,” he adds.
Product Portfolio
Skyline Exports offers a comprehensive range of home textile products, including:

Navigating a Tough Year Successfully
The year 2025 has been challenging for the global textile industry, marked by geopolitical uncertainties and tariff-related disruptions. Reflecting on how Skyline Exports navigated this phase, Rahul says, “Our wide global footprint played a crucial role. Our presence across the US, Europe, and Australia helped us manage challenges such as the pandemic and tariff pressures. Design innovation has also been a key factor in building customer loyalty.”

Echoing this view, Rohit adds, “Another advantage our customers value is flexibility in order quantities. We believe in standing by our customers during both good and difficult times. This approach has helped us remain a preferred partner and sail through choppy waters.”
Showcase at Heimtextil 2026
The team at Skyline Exports is upbeat about its participation at Heimtextil 2026. So, what can visitors expect at the global trade fair?
“We will be showcasing our entire product portfolio, with a special focus on our core strength—knitted and woven bedding,” says Rahul.

He adds, “Our theme at Heimtextil will be sustainability and automation. We will highlight our use of 100% green energy, our focus on natural fibers and blends, and the role automation is playing in driving our growth story.”
‘AI’ with a Difference
Speaking about the company’s key differentiators at Heimtextil 2026, Atul reveals an interesting perspective. “While AI is a buzzword today, for us it stands for ‘Artisanal Intelligence’. We draw value from handcrafted and manual techniques and blend them with automation to create something unique for our customers.”
“Artisanal intelligence and sustainability are at the core of what we do. Quality is absolutely sacrosanct for us,” he emphasizes.
Atul further points out that Skyline’s ability to produce both solid and textured formats within sustainable categories sets it apart globally. “Even in solid categories like plain sheetings, we incorporate additional techniques to enhance value. We like to think of ourselves as the ‘cherry on the cake’ for our customers.”
Sustainability at the Core
Reiterating the company’s sustainability focus, Rahul explains, “Our solar installations generate 110 kW of power, enabling us to run our operations on renewable energy. Additionally, we do not use polyester in our bedding products.”

“We work exclusively with natural fibers and blends such as organic cotton, linen, Tencel, and bamboo. Nearly 70% of our business comes from organic cotton, which clearly reflects our product strategy and sustainability commitment,” he adds.
FTAs and Market Traction
Sharing his views on the recent Free Trade Agreements (FTAs) signed by India, Rohit says, “They are a welcome move. We are already seeing strong traction in terms of enquiries, though it may take some time for these to fully translate into revenues. There is clear interest from customers across regions.”
Skyline Exports has established a strong presence in markets including the US, Europe, Canada, and Australia. “We also supply to leading retailers in India, and the domestic market is showing strong growth,” Rohit adds.
Optimistic Outlook
The company is now looking ahead to the completion of its new 35,000 sq. ft. automated facility at Sulur. “The plant will feature cutting-edge technology and end-to-end automation—from cutting to final delivery. This will help us cater to larger volumes and faster turnaround times,” says Rahul.
Sounding optimistic about the industry’s future, Jagan Mohan concludes, “We have been in this business for over three decades and have built a strong, loyal customer base. Consistency has been our strength, rooted in trust and long-term relationships. The industry has faced temporary blips in the past as well, and we are confident of a return to a high-growth trajectory in the near future.”
