Our story is built on responsibility

Reflecting on the company’s origins, Managing Director Sri Vallabhaneni Sudhakar Chowdary describes Mohan Spintex as a long-term vision rather than a conventional business venture. From the beginning, the enterprise chose the harder route—investing in infrastructure, compliance, and people even when market conditions were uncertain—creating resilience against raw material volatility, trade disruptions, and evolving regulations.

“Mohan Spintex was not created merely to manufacture products; it was created to build trust.

Trust with farmers, employees, customers, regulators, and international buyers,” he notes. Under his leadership, the organization has evolved into a vertically integrated, Trusted home textile manufacturer, known for reliability, consistency, and sustainability—qualities that have become decisive differentiators as global buyers demand transparency and ethical sourcing.

For Sri Vallabhaneni Sudhakar Chowdary, this longterm approach is captured in Mohan Spintex’s vision of becoming a global leader by continually upgrading practices ‑and meeting customer needs, while safeguarding the planet through responsible, sustainable operations.

He frames the company’s mission as building a sustainable, value driven organization that involves every stakeholder and consistently offers innovative products‑, value-added products powered by ongoing technology and skill ‑enhancement

“Sustainability is not a department – it is our culture”

Ravi Kumar

Whole-Time Director Sri Gottimukkala Ravi Kumar sums up Mohan Spintex’s ESG philosophy: “We do not treat sustainability as a department or a marketing theme—it is how we operate, every single day.” This culture is backed by concrete initiatives across integrated spinning, weaving, processing, and home textiles together employing over 5,500 people.

A Zero Liquid Discharge–oriented Effluent Treatment Plant enables recovery of up to 98% of process water, which is recycled and reused, significantly reducing freshwater consumption.  Rainwater harvesting systems with a capacity of 20 million liters further reduce dependence on groundwater and strengthen long-term water security at the manufacturing locations.

On the energy front, a 10.8 MW rooftop solar power installation helps Mohan Spintex avoid 13,296 tonnes of CO₂ emissions annually equivalent to planting 66,480 trees every year. The company has also achivied coal free steam generation, shifting entirely to rice husk and thereby avoiding 54,444 tonnes of CO₂ per year while achieving about 95% lower carbon emissions compared to coal.

Green cover and biodiversity are treated as strategic priorities: more than 10,000 trees spanning over 200 species have been planted, with 30% green coverage across facilities. Around 90% of packing now uses sustainable materials, and product development increasingly focuses on sustainable fibers such as organic cotton, BCI cotton, Tencel, and other eco-conscious blends that minimize environmental impact while enhancing comfort.

Exports built on consistency, credibility, and confidence

Subba Rao, Overseas Director

For Sri Subba Rao, Overseas Director, global markets reward companies that can deliver not only products but predictability. “In export markets, reputation travels faster than shipments,” he observes, highlighting how Mohan Spintex has grown by prioritizing long-term relationships over opportunistic volumes.

International buyers now assess suppliers on reliability, ethical sourcing, compliance, and quality consistency, not just price. Mohan Spintex’s structured systems, transparent practices, and disciplined operations—supported by certifications such as ISO, OEKO‑TEX, GOTS, GRS, BCI, and MADE IN GREEN—offer the traceability and assurance that leading retailers and brands demand. “Our values and processes give buyers confidence, and that confidence becomes repeat business,” he adds.

Quality is won on the shop floor

Leela Krishna, President – Operations

For Sri Venigalla Leela Krishna, President – Operations, quality is a daily commitment, not a static metric. “Machines matter, but people and processes matter more,” he asserts, underscoring the role of trained teams, clear protocols, and continuous upskilling from cotton selection through spinning, weaving, processing and sewing

Regular audits, process reviews, and benchmarking against global best practices keep the organization tightly aligned to customer expectations across markets. This relentless focus on shop-floor excellence enables Mohan Spintex to deliver complex specifications reliably, even as product requirements evolve.

A new generation, a renewed vision

Suhurth, Director

As Mohan Spintex looks ahead, it does so with a sense of continuity and renewal through the involvement of the next generation—Sri Suhurth and Smt. Keyura, children of the Managing Director. Their entry marks a thoughtful transition toward deeper digitalization, advanced analytics, and contemporary management systems, while preserving the core values of discipline, integrity, and responsibility.

This generational synergy positions the company to respond effectively to emerging themes such as traceability, Industry 4.0, carbon accounting, and value-added product segments. For buyers visiting Heimtextil 2026, Mohan Spintex presents not just products, but a future-ready partner weaving together sustainability, quality, and trust—thread by thread, market by market, and generation by generation.
