TCT Linens Private Limited, the Sivakasi-based luxury home textiles manufacturer, has steadily carved a distinct identity for itself in the global market. The brand’s name—TCT, or ‘The Creative Texture’—aptly reflects its emphasis on craftsmanship, design excellence, and innovation.

As the company gears up for Heimtextil 2026, one of the world’s most prominent textile exhibitions, its leadership exudes confidence and excitement. In an exclusive interaction at the company’s marketing office in Coimbatore, Mr. Rajamanickam, Head of the Institution, shared in-depth insights into the company’s performance, product strengths, and grand plans for the upcoming global showcase.
Navigating a volatile year
The year 2025 has been a turbulent one for global home textile players, and TCT Linens was no exception. Mr. Rajamanickam acknowledged that the US tariff situation posed significant challenges. “The US accounts for about 30% of our business. Despite the turbulence, we retained around 15% of that share by partnering closely with our buyers and sharing their challenges,” he said.
Despite the headwinds, the company managed to register growth. “Overall, we have been able to increase our sales compared to last year. That’s a result of our strategic diversification and strong presence in multiple global markets,” Mr. Rajamanickam added.
TCT Linens continues to draw solid demand from the UK, the European Union, Australia, and the US, ensuring a well-balanced market mix.

Innovation at the core
At the heart of TCT Linens lies an unwavering commitment to innovation—right from the farm level to the finished product. “We are a farm-to-bed company,” Mr. Rajamanickam emphasized. “We do contract farming in Odisha and Tamil Nadu for organic long staple and extra-long staple DCH & Suvin cotton. Then contract spinning, in-house weaving, processing, and stitching. It’s a complete vertically integrated setup.”
With weaving and stitching operations in Sivakasi, a processing unit in Perundurai, and contract spinning in Coimbatore, the company enjoys total control over quality and timelines. This vertical strength has enabled TCT Linens to create some of the most luxurious products using Suvin cotton, often referred to as the “Jewel of India” for its rarity and exceptional fiber characteristics.

“Suvin has a micronaire as fine as 2.8 to 3 and a fiber length of 38 to 42 mm. It is comparable to Egyptian and Supima, but far more luxurious,” Mr. Rajamanickam explained. The company’s boldest innovation for the upcoming event is its 2026 thread count fabric, crafted especially for Heimtextil 2026. “We wanted to do something symbolic. So, we created a 2026 thread count fabric to mark the year 2026. It will be one of our star launches at the exhibition,” he said with pride.
A premium home textile portfolio
TCT Linens offers an expansive range of luxury home textiles including:
- Bed sheets and bedding sets
- Duvet covers and protectors
- Pillow covers
- Blankets and throws
- Quilts
These products are crafted using premium dobby and jacquard looms, supported by all major global certifications—an essential requirement in the luxury segment. “We cater mainly to retail brands across the world. Institutional business is less than 5% for us,” Mr. Rajamanickam noted.
Building capacity for the future
Continuous investment in infrastructure is a key element of TCT Linens’ long-term strategy. The company recently commissioned its own processing unit in Perundurai. “The unit has a capacity of 50,000 meters per day and uses a continuous bleaching process. It is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery,” Mr. Rajamanickam explained.
This addition further strengthens the company’s vertical integration and helps maintain consistency, speed, and quality.
Showcasing excellence at Heimtextil 2026
TCT Linens is gearing up to make a strong impression at Heimtextil 2026 with a display centered on luxury, innovation, and sustainability. “We will showcase our entire range, including products in linen, bamboo, Tencel, and cotton. We also have blends like cotton-bamboo, cotton-linen, and Tencel-cotton,” Mr. Rajamanickam shared.
A key highlight will be the company’s expertise in yarn overspinning, which results in fabrics with superior hand feel and finish. Performance parameters such as washability, air permeability, and durability will also take center stage. “Thread count alone doesn’t define luxury. A 300 TC product from us will feel very different because of our processes,” he added.
Standing out in the global arena
Mr. Rajamanickam is confident that TCT Linens will command significant attention at the event. “Our biggest strength is our farm-to-bed capability. Using Suvin cotton gives us an edge, and our sustainability initiatives further enhance our global appeal,” he said.
With growing demand for traceable and environment-friendly home textiles, TCT Linens’ integrated approach resonates strongly with customers worldwide.
Deep commitment to sustainability
Sustainability is not a buzzword for TCT Linens—it is a deeply embedded operational philosophy. “We work directly with farmers for organic Suvin cotton and ELS organic cotton. From the seed level, we know what we want, and our R&D ensures quality and consistency,” Mr. Rajamanickam explained. The company’s processing unit is fully compliant with Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) norms. It also uses only low-impact chemicals and relies entirely on green energy. “We have wooden boilers and are now working with farmers to source cotton stems—agricultural waste—to use as biomass,” he added.
Special finishes for added value
TCT Linens partners with European technology providers to enhance durability and eco-friendliness. “Using low-impact dyes and enzyme-based chemicals, our products can achieve up to 50-wash color lock. This significantly enhances product life while reducing environmental impact,” Mr. Rajamanickam said.
FTAs to unlock new opportunities
On the policy front, Mr. Rajamanickam is optimistic about India’s Free Trade Agreements. “Once fully implemented, FTAs will give Indian manufacturers a strong advantage. We grow cotton here and value-add it here. Despite temporary tariff turbulence, we expect the industry to bounce back soon,” he remarked.
A warm invitation to Heimtextil 2026
Before signing off, Mr. Rajamanickam extended a warm invitation to all visitors. “Make a note—we will be present in Hall 9.0, Booth A41. Come, visit us, and discover how our products can add value to your collections,” he said.
