Crossing the ₹5,000 crore revenue milestone, the global apparel manufacturer strengthens its multi-country manufacturing network through strategic investments, advanced technologies and capacity expansion
Pearl Global Industries has reached a defining milestone in its growth journey by surpassing ₹5,000 crore in revenue during FY2025-26, underlining the success of its diversified manufacturing strategy and its ability to consistently deliver growth across varying market conditions. Equally significant is the company’s achievement of building a global manufacturing platform with an annual production capacity exceeding 100 million garments, reflecting the scale, operational depth and execution capabilities it has developed over the years.

Today, Pearl Global operates one of the industry’s most diversified apparel manufacturing networks, with 25 manufacturing facilities spread across India, Bangladesh, Vietnam, Indonesia and Guatemala, enabling it to serve leading global fashion brands through an integrated multi-country sourcing model. Combining investments in manufacturing capacity, automation, sustainability and digital technologies, the company continues to strengthen its competitive position while building a future-ready production ecosystem capable of responding quickly to evolving global sourcing requirements.
Focused Investments Strengthen Manufacturing Capabilities
During FY2025-26, Pearl Global continued to invest aggressively across its manufacturing network with a clear focus on three strategic priorities—capacity expansion, technology adoption and sustainable infrastructure.
The company added new production lines at its Bihar facility in India while simultaneously expanding operations in Bangladesh, where an ongoing project is expected to add 6 million pieces of annual manufacturing capacity. Further capacity enhancement initiatives are also underway in Vietnam to support increasing demand for technical outerwear and premium apparel.

Alongside physical expansion, Pearl Global invested in automation, robotics, digital product development platforms, 3D design technologies and AI-enabled tools to improve productivity and operational efficiency across its global manufacturing footprint. The company also advanced its sustainability infrastructure through a ₹90+ crore investment in a new resource-efficient laundry facility in Bangladesh, with 95% of the project already completed during FY26.
India Emerges as a Major Growth Engine
India represents one of Pearl Global’s fastest-growing manufacturing hubs and is expected to play an increasingly important role in the company’s long-term growth strategy. The company currently operates eight owned manufacturing facilities across Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru and Muzaffarpur (Bihar), producing 25.9 million garments annually and generating standalone revenues exceeding ₹1,081 crore. The facilities manufacture a diversified range of woven and knitted garments across womenswear, menswear and childrenswear.
The newly established Bihar manufacturing facility reflects Pearl Global’s strategy of expanding into Tier II and Tier III locations with abundant skilled manpower and competitive operating costs. At full capacity, the plant is expected to house around 900 sewing machines, of which nearly 400 machines have already been installed. The expansion will significantly enhance India’s production capabilities while supporting the company’s strategy of creating scalable manufacturing operations beyond traditional textile hubs.
Technology investments in India include infrastructure upgrades, deployment of automated cutters, spreaders and stickering systems, digital racking solutions and KPI-driven performance management systems that improve productivity and operational efficiency. Four of the company’s eight Indian manufacturing facilities have already secured EU approvals, while approvals for the remaining units are progressing to leverage future opportunities arising from the India-UK and India-EU Free Trade Agreements.

Bangladesh Continues to Anchor Global Manufacturing
Bangladesh remains Pearl Global’s largest manufacturing base with nine manufacturing units producing 59.7 million garments annually prior to the ongoing expansion. Operating at around 85% capacity utilisation, these facilities form the backbone of the company’s global production network.
The operations manufacture both woven and knitted apparel and are equipped with advanced product development capabilities, including 3D virtual fitting technology, sophisticated product development software and integrated denim processing infrastructure. Technologies such as laser finishing, ozone processing, Magic Box systems, dip dyeing and EIM software enable sustainable and innovative apparel manufacturing. The facilities also comply with globally recognised sustainability standards including the HIGG Index, ZDHC and Care for Water.
The ongoing ₹90+ crore sustainability laundry project, expected to be completed by the end of Q1 FY27, will further strengthen the company’s resource-efficient manufacturing capabilities while enhancing its environmental performance.

Vietnam Leads in Technical Apparel Manufacturing
Vietnam has evolved into Pearl Global’s centre of excellence for premium technical apparel. The company operates five manufacturing facilities employing more than 1,850 people, with an annual production capacity of 7.1 million garments.
The facilities specialize in technically demanding products such as down jackets, woollen coats, seam-sealed outerwear, puffers, parkas, blazers and swimwear. Investments in automation, laser systems, digital fabric tracking and lean manufacturing continue to improve productivity while supporting high-quality production. Vietnam’s preferential access under the CPTPP and other trade agreements further strengthens its position as an important export hub.
Indonesia Enhances Premium Apparel Capabilities
Pearl Global’s two manufacturing facilities in Indonesia focus on premium product categories including women’s professional wear, activewear, performance apparel, dresses, woven tops and loungewear, with a combined annual production capacity of 4.8 million garments.
The facilities leverage RFID-enabled manufacturing, digital workflows, lean production practices and energy-efficient technologies to improve productivity, traceability and quality consistency. Supported by regional trade agreements, Indonesia provides Pearl Global with additional sourcing flexibility for international customers.
Guatemala Strengthens Near-Shore Manufacturing for North America
Pearl Global’s manufacturing facility in Guatemala plays a strategic role in serving the North American market. With an annual capacity of 3.3 million garments, the facility benefits from zero-tariff access to the United States, enabling shorter lead times and improved supply chain responsiveness for US customers. This near-shore manufacturing capability significantly enhances Pearl Global’s ability to support fast fashion and quick replenishment programmes.
Positioned for the Next Phase of Global Growth
Pearl Global’s globally diversified manufacturing footprint allows the company to optimise production across multiple geographies while leveraging the unique strengths of each manufacturing base. India offers scalable growth and cost-efficient expansion, Bangladesh provides large-scale manufacturing capabilities, Vietnam specializes in technical outerwear, Indonesia supports premium apparel production, while Guatemala delivers rapid access to the North American market.
Building on the momentum of crossing the ₹5,000 crore revenue milestone and establishing a manufacturing platform capable of producing over 100 million garments annually, the company is now preparing for its next phase of expansion. During FY2026-27, Pearl Global plans to invest ₹200-250 crore to lay the foundation for its long-term growth strategy. The planned investments will support additional manufacturing capacity, technology upgrades and strategic expansion opportunities across India, Bangladesh, Vietnam and Indonesia, through both owned facilities and partnership-led models.
With continued investments in advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, sustainability and multi-country sourcing capabilities, Pearl Global is well positioned to strengthen its leadership in global apparel manufacturing while creating a resilient, agile and future-ready manufacturing network capable of supporting the evolving requirements of international fashion brands and retailers.
